Heal For You Light Pty Ltd (ABN 14 700 920 752) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you order: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, and delivery information.
Payment information: processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: your name, contact details and whatever you tell us.
When you subscribe: your email address, and your name if you give it.
When you leave a review: your name or display name, your review, any photos you upload, and confirmation that you purchased.
Automatically, when you browse: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with our site. Collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us run the business:

Overseas disclosure
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia — including in the United States, Canada, Ireland and Singapore. By providing us with your personal information you consent to this disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, but overseas recipients may not be subject to Australian privacy law.
Marketing and unsubscribing
We'll only send marketing emails if you've opted in. Every one has an unsubscribe link and we action unsubscribes promptly, as the Spam Act 2003 requires. Unsubscribing from marketing doesn't stop transactional emails about orders you've placed.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand site usage, and measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
How we protect your information
We use reputable providers with appropriate security, we don't store payment card details, and we limit access to personal information to those who need it. No system is completely secure, but if a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
How long we keep it
As long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations. Order and warranty records are kept for at least 7 years for tax and consumer law purposes. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong. Email info@healforyoulight.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. There's no charge, unless a request is unusually complex.
You can also ask us to delete your information, and we will where we're not legally required to keep it.
Children
We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Complaints
Contact us first at info@healforyoulight.com.au and we'll investigate and respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — oaic.gov.au, or 1300 363 992.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated.
